We’ve been going around the M8 in Glasgow for almost as many years as it’s been open – 40+ and counting! It’s official, the Heart of Scotland Services is our second home. Project Details: We were invited to tender for window installation on an extensive refurbishment project for a development in the old Glasgow dockside. It was challenging, to say the least, with very large sash windows, historic features, and detailing combined with 21st thermal regulation and modern draughtproofing. The results speak for themselves.

Project Details: Janice found herself rattling around in a large property in this pretty village on the banks of Loch Lomond. Deciding holiday lets and Airbnb was the way forward, Janice started a renovation project. We were called in to replace old and draughty sash windows. Period authenticity was essential as this property was listed, plus Janice still wanted to make the most of the fabulous views. What's the lead-in time on new sash window delivery?
The lead-in time is five weeks, but this varies depending on demand. A lot depends upon the actual specification of your project, so the number of windows you want and the design and features. When we receive your order, we will be able to give you a more accurate timescale for how long it will take to make your windows.
Does your sister company William Richards repair on-site or in their workshops?
The answer to this depends on what needs doing, i.e., what state of repair the windows are in and the actual work that needs doing. Sometimes, removing a window and taking it back to the workshop can be more manageable. William Richards’ surveyor will be able to discuss this with you when they visit.
Do you offer finance or payment plans?
We always want to help our customers afford the best sash windows they can, so we’re happy to offer flexible finance terms to spread the cost. There are many ways we can suggest to make a budget stretch a bit further plus, we always respond in an emergency like fire or flooding.
